Pastor Tyrone W Nash, Sr

Senior Pastor and Co-Founder of Chosen To Evangelize Ministries

Pastor Tyrone W. Nash, Sr. has been serving the Lord for many years. He first started serving God at the age of 17 in the Franklin Avenue Baptist Church of New Orleans, LA. where he served in the choirs Voices of Praise and the FABC Mass Choir. Tyrone also served as youth Sunday school teacher at FABC. Many Pastors and ministers saw ministry and pastoring in his future and spoke into his life from that young age. He was always seen as a helper in the church always looking for what he can find his hands to do.

His journey with the Lord brought him to Denton, TX where has served under different Pastors in many offices. Some of those offices include; armor-bearer, Board member, Sunday School Leader, Evangelism and many other offices. In 2001 he answered his call to ministry. In June of 2013 he and his wife were ordained, and God called them to start Chosen to Evangelize Ministries, Inc.

He is the husband of one wife Pastor Lakisha J. Nash and the father of three sons Tyrone W. Nash, Jr., Trenton J. Nash, and Taj J. Nash.

Pastor Kisha Nash

Co-Founder of Chosen To Evangelize Ministries Pastor Kisha Nash has been serving in the church since the age of 6yrs old. Her paternal grandmother known as Momma Ruby, made sure Kisha was faithful to church twice on Sundays and choir rehearsal. She started helping her grandmother fix communion and cleaning the church as early as 7yrs old. At the age of 13, she began teaching adult Sunday school at her grandmother’s suggestion for her to fill in the gap. Since then until now that has been a role she has served since childhood, always looking to fill in the gap, and meet the need. Pastor Kisha later became a member at Tabernacle Apostolic Church at the age of 15yrs and was introduced to the Holy Ghost. She earned a nickname of shouting John by her peers due to her passion in praising God. At that time, she developed a love for writing skits, stories, and poems. She was active in the youth choir and evangelism team.

She relocated to the Denton, TX area in 1999. In the Denton area she served under different ministries where she labored in different auxiliaries from choir to head of women’s department and has been a prayer warrior since youth. In June of 2013 God ordained her husband and her and called them to start Chosen to Evangelize Ministries, Inc. where God has impressed on her to reach out to those that have been hurt in ministry. Pastor Kisha has a passion of digging deep into the Word of God and teaching others the Word of God to develop an intimate relationship with Christ.

At the age of 19yrs, Pastor Kisha married her best friend and her love Pastor Tyrone W. Nash, Sr. they later became the parents of 3 blessings, Tyrone W. Nash Jr., Trenton J. Nash, and Taj J. Nash.
